Exo terra 20 gallon

Hi guys, I just have a couple questions

So a friend of mine is getting rid of his 20 gallon exo terra tank, he pretty much just wants gas money so he can drop it off at my house lol how could I say no? My question is, how long would a 20 gallon tank last to a baby BP? I have a few other reptiles already but for some reason (and please don't tell my other cold blooded babies) I love noodle the most, and I've been wanting to get a second one, I was hoping to set up my first tub but with his opportunity I guess another tank for now would be convenient, what do you guys think, any comment or suggestion is more than welcome!

According to this grid, it looks like a 20 gallon will last up until your snake is around 600 grams or you when you get frustrated with trying to keep temps and humidity in the correct ranges.

Is it more difficult to keep humidity and temps in correct range in a 20 gallon tank? Just asking because I have my first noodle on a 40 gallon breeder and his temps and humidity are fine, he's a happy and good eating little fella

I can't speak from experience but I've heard it can be difficult; especially keeping humidity high enough. One of the reasons I chose a pvc enclosure. Good luck if you can get everything right.

Sorry but by pvc you mean like the tubs they sell at Walmart? I really just want what will make my little one happy, so I'm willing to use that 20
Gallon tank for someone else lol I have beardies and geckos too

No, they are not the tubs they sell at Walmart. I would just google pvc enclosures for Ball Pythons and you'll get a good idea what they look like. I'm sure whatever you have will be fine. Just make sure you have a thermostat for every heating device you plan to use.

Willing to get one if that's the best home for my little ones!

I have my newest in a 20gal and I can't bring my humidity down lol it maintains at 70-80% depending the time of the day

My first juvenile royal was in a 20 gallon tank, but he grew into a 40 gallon tank in about a year.

A year is enough time for me to be able to make a rack, I wanna be a little more experienced for that lol
