Help identify my ball python
I bought a snake from an expo a while ago and im a bit confused on the morph the guy told me. he told me he was a black pastel lace back. I'm not too sure what a lace back is. I was maybe thinking he's red axanthic.https://scontent.ford1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...7c&oe=5A468594https://scontent.ford1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...31&oe=5A53EC24
Re: Help identify my ball python
Can't be a red axanthic because he's a black pastel. I'm so confused on what he can be.

I can't see the pictures. :(

Re: Help identify my ball python
Seems like the overall coloration is off for black pastel lace. Maybe something else going on genetically. Too light for black pastel lace. Just a possibility.
Re: Help identify my ball python
Yeah I really wanted to know cause I was planning on breeding him with a female. But I need to know the morph );

it's not rude, it's true.
1) unless u an are a breeder well versed in morphs w/ tons of experience and u think a seller may have missed a gene in a snake that's up for sale, u should know what you're buying.
2) buy from a reputable breeder. know the morph and the pairing that produced it.
3) u can't call it a Red Axanthic b/c that's what it looks like to u. it's what it was sold to u until u breed it out and prove it otherwise with a clutch of HRA's and Red Axanthic's.
