    fairly new reptile breeder here i have a few question
    ive bred other snakes before but mainly corn snakes and geckos this is my first season with ball pythons and acquired a vanilla het pied and i was wondering what a decent gene to pair with a vanilla thanks in advance

    Since it is het for pied, I would pick another animal either het for pied or visible pied. Whatever other genes it may display or carry.

    This way you have a chance to produce some pieds, on top of whatever else may pop out ;)

    Yeah, what zina said. Since you have Pied genetics in that vanilla, get the most beautiful piebald genetics you can find and do her up!

    Both above me said what I would of said. Get something het for pied or a pied girl.
