Best tanks for a house with a curious cat

A friend just gifted me a beautiful female and I would like to keep her in the living room, but am nervous about our cat possibly scratching or breaking a mesh top. Are there any good set ups out there that have worked for people with cats?

PVC cages like boaphile, they look nice too.

Second PVC enclosures. Reptile Basics is selling pvc again so they are an option as well. Also look into Animal Plastics
