Almost 4 feet in his first year
Hello, my ball python is almost 4 feet long and he has yet to reach a year old according to our breeder. I have not power fed him, keep him on a regular diet, and I'm concerned if this is a problem. I see so many, "He's almost 4 feet long and three years old" things when I try to search this up so now I am a bit worried. He's not lethargic, hasn't been sick, is active at night and eats for me every Friday, and sheds properly.

I don't know if his mother was a burm and his dad was a ball python or what is going on but I'd like some input.

I forgot to mention he will be a year old sometime between October 20 - December 30, we picked November 10th to celebrate so he is almost a year old

nothing to worry about. snakes all grow at their own pace, yours grew just a little faster than most. the most important factor when judging a snake's health is their weight and overall body condition.

i highly doubt you have a beep/burm hybrid on your hands.

Thank you, I got a bit worried, I know I don't have a hybrid it was a joke my boyfriend and I have about him. I just didn't know they can grow so fast. His weight is 847g, he has yet to eat today however so that's him on a empty stomach.

Here's pictures of his sheds, I let them dry before measuring so they are not so wet and stretched out
