Showing signs of building?

My female normal laid 5 eggs this March. I started pairing her at 1600g last fall, she went up to 1900g when gravid and is back up to 1900g now. She is cool-seeking and laying inverted.

If I were to not pair her and let her re-absorb, could she still become gravid from retained sperm? If she resorbs her follicles, would that affect her schedule of when she develops follicles and her predictability as a fall breeder? Will she become hard to breed if she resorbs?

I was going to give her the year off since I have other pairings I'd like to keep some offspring of, but last year I got one clutch out of two pairs so I'm worried that if I don't pair her and soon I may miss my chance at babies this year...
