    Yet another RI?
Hey all, pretty frustrated over here as I seem to have another RI on my hands after treating my adult male about 2 months ago, this time with our new 5 month old male pastel calico. I moved our adult to a tank as bad airflow to his tub was deemed to be the root of his infection. The little one is in a tub at the moment with lots of holes and a fan flowing across it, but temps and humidity seem fine to me. Ambient: 75, hot side: 90-92, humidity: 60-80%, same as the adult in the tank. Inspected the baby's mouth today, bubbles towards the esophagus but trachea was opening with every breath, small wheezes every now and then. Seems like identical symptoms to when my adult was diagnosed. I guess another vet visit is in my future...

I need help to get rid of these RI's for good in both snakes and prevent them in the future! What am I doing wrong?? [emoji849]

What type of RI are you dealing with?

The key is proper diagnosis (culture is a must) proper injectable anti-biotic based on culture and for a duration of no less than 30 days.

    The key to prevent them

    Proper husbandry

    Limited stress

    Clean enviroment

    Proper quarantine procedures
