Wipe out cleaner?
I'm not a strong person and I have a very old, very heavy tank housing a boa. It's almost time to clean it and I have a question. Is there a spray on wipe out cleaner that's effective and safe? I usually bring tanks to the shower and bleach them. I can't do that with this one. So how do you guys clean and disinfect your large enclosures? Like retic tanks.

Re: Wipe out cleaner?
F10SCXD cleaner/sanitizer and F10SC disinfectant. Comes in both a concentrated form or premixed and ready to use. I've ordered it from Reptile Basics, $15 for I think 100ml concentrate. 2ml diluted in 1L of water lasts me quite a while. Good stuff

And you don't have to wash that out or anything?

Re: Wipe out cleaner?
You could also use chlorahexdine. If there was any remaining residue it would not harm your snake. You can buy this by the gallon online. Not to expensive either. I mix mine with water per the instructions and wash out my cages with it and wash their fake greenery too.

I just purchased chlorahexdine. Do you just spray down the fake greenery and rinse w/ water??

Soap and water to clean, wipe dry. Spray with F10SC or chlorahexdine afterward to disinfect.

Awesome. Thanks for the responses. I'll look into both.

I actually soak my fake greenery in a mixture of Chlorahexdine and water and then rinse well.

Re: Wipe out cleaner?
For my indoor tortoise pens I found soap, water and elbow grease works well enough for general cleaning. Then again I do have to deal with the fact one species of tortoise I have carries a virus that is fatal to other species, only reason mine survive is cleaning them out every third day and never cleaning them the same day - worked out well enough and avoided problems that way.

I use chlorahexadine, love that stuff and it can actually be used to clean and disinfect wounds as well.
