    Feeding help
    Hi everyone,

I've been here for a few weeks, and have been learning from you all, thank you all so much. It really has been eye opening.

My BP Jake was given to me recently, about a month ago. The previous owners fed him a live mouse every two weeks. He is 4 years old.

I really can't tell if I should bump up his food or change what he eats. I don't know exactly how to weigh him, but it seems that other 4 year olds are already on mice.

Should I change to every week? Give him rats instead? How should I go about weighing him?

I've heard that if you can see a bulge in their stomach after feeding then they are full. I always see a bulge in his stomach, but I really just want to make sure.

you need to get a scale to weigh him; weight is a great indicator of a snake's overall health.

once you know weight, follow this chart below:https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9e235d2d2e.jpg

Thank you. What scale should I buy for him?
