    Happy Surprise!
My only clutch this season has turned out to be a great one. I hatched some very nice animals and they are all thriving. Since I only did one pairing, I'll take it. However, when they little ones shed the first time two of them shed clear. The Sire is 100% het Hypo, but the 0.1 Killerbee was not supposed to be het for anything. Second shed, and they once again they are clear. Confirmation! I now have a 0.1 Humblebee and a 0.1 Hypo Pastel, not to mention that the clutch is 66% het! Happy days. Too bad the GHI babies didn't show visual, but I'm repeating the pairing this season. Fingers crossed.

    Nice job, congrats!!!!

I'm still very new to morphs and know very little about breeding (no intention to breed anytime in the next few years, if ever). Can you please educate me on what you mean by "shed clear" and teach me what that means?
I'm just curious and enjoy learning about these fascinating animals.
    Thanks in advance.

Snakes that are Hypo typically will have no pattern on their shed skins. Hence, shed clear. The skin will just be a white/light yellow shed.
