    Is This Pink Normal?
So my BP has had a pink belly for the past 4 days. It actually has gotten more pink over time.

His temps are 82-84 on his cool side and 90-92 on his warm side. His humidity usually sits at 55%. Ambient air is 80.

I have 2 UTH both on thermostats and a CHE on a dimmer.

Is this a sign of a shed or is something wrong?

If it is from shedding should I up his humidity now or wait until his eyes turn blue?

Your hot spot might be just a few degrees warm but it doesn't look like it's a burn, most are a lot more pink. If it is a burn it will keep getting more pink unless you turn down the UTH. Maybe turn it down for a few days and see what happens. It may just be your snake getting ready to shed too, if he is about to, Wait untill his eyes turn blue to pimp up humidity.

What temp gauge do you use? It could
Be incorrect- I found I would set mine to 88, and in a test run with two different thermometers it came up as 98-100. So my thermostat is set to 82 because it is inaccurate and the other therms show 88-91, just something to
    Maybe check!

Could also totally be in shed, but I'm not experienced enough to tell you for sure!

Have a accurite thermometer for ambient air and the hot side. I also use a temp gun to spot check both sides under the hides.

I always let my fingers lay on the pad for a few min to see how hot it is. If it's too hot for me it's too hot for the snake

    Then I'm
Sure it must be shedding related. He shouldn't be burned from those temps

Doesn't look like any burn to me. Looks like mine when it is the first stage of shed. Personally, I start upping humidity when mine becomes a little pink belly ;)

Only one problem with that method. A UTH should feel almost not warm at all to your touch. people have a high body temp so something's that almost uncomfortable for you could be burning hot and dangerous to your snake.
