    Bioactive BP setup?
Hi all! I love gardening and have a collection of succulents that I tend to, so that got me to wondering if I could introduce my love of plants and crafty inclinations to create a bioactive setup for my BP - including plants, Ecoearth or something similar, natural wood, etc.

My biggest concerns with this would be keeping it clean and the humidity at a healthy level. My BP was treated for an RI about a month ago and at times has shown signs of minor symptoms (such as raising his head when resting). The source of the RI appeared to be chronically high humidity combined with poor airflow in his tub. I moved him to a tank with screen lid and now the humidity stays around 70% (about as low as I can get it) but I also use paper towels as substrate and have the water bowl on the cool end, keeping it as sterile as possible

All this to say, I would assume the addition of plants and natural substrate would make the humidity skyrocket and increase the likelihood of harboring bacteria, and I would very much like to avoid other RIs. Does anyone have experience housing their BP in a bioactive setup? Suggestions for these issues?
