eggs hatched! :0 other genes at play?
So turns out the guy I sold Blissey to (the one who didn’t have an incubator yet when she laid -_-) didn’t let her eggs go bad after all, THANKFULLY. They’ved hatched and he sent me photos, and I thought to post them because there are apparently more genes at play! Cool!

this is Yukon (lesser butter, who I own) x Blissey (butter, I sold her literally 3 weeks before she became gravid... sigh). I paired these two maybe 5~6 times from November 2016~March 2017ish.

two of those odd little babies like the one in the middle photo were produced. They look like mojave hidden gene woma, but I honestly don’t know? What could’ve happened here? Any morph guesses?

    Seriously, so many bels!

I was just told that egg stress can contribute to odd patterning, which would... actually make sense, because this guy seemed a little "off", so I wouldn't be surprised at all if they went through temp fluctuations. (ie: didn't have an incubator when she laid, though he claimed he was a breeder when I sold her to him. She possibly maternally incubated in odd temps for days or weeks. Then claimed he had scaleless heads lol)

    omg congrats!!

those look like Soulsuckers. it might be possible that your BEL has hidden genes as it's hard to tell in a Lucy. what did the mom look like? do u know the parent's lineage?

    awesome clutch. i'm jealous.
