    Cypress mulch question
Looking for a new bedding and I've heard about cypress mulch. Was wondering if anyone used the cypress blend at Walmart. My cousin lives a few states away and says he used it, but it could be different stuff because it's a few states away.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cf3a51db30.jpg

I use the same kind for my hatchlings. Although I sift through it and wash it. It can be pretty dirty/dusty.

Also found a chunk of glass once.....

I would not use it as it's not 100% cypress. I called the maker and asked what was in it and was told:
    50% pine
    10% cypress
40% "whatever we were cutting that week" which could include toxic woods like cedar and black walnut, so the product isn't consistent.

From an ecological standpoint, you really shouldnt use Cypress as it takes years upon years for them to grow. I mean the reptile industry doesnt use as much as other industries but it all adds up. You should look into Reptichips. Stuff is awesome and made from coco husk.
