It may just be the perspective of the photo but it looks like you have a good amount of height to that enclosure. If it's to be meant as a display enclosure and you're not dead set on a cal king or hognose, you may be interested in something a bit more arboreal so more of the space is utilized.

So Trisnake what do you have in mind?

Yes a Cal King could live in that enclosure as an adult, but a smaller enclosure would be better for a juvenile.
That would be a very large enclosure for a hognose, especially a male.

My adult Cal King is a little over 4 feet long and 676 grams as of last weigh-in and is in an enclosure with very similar dimensions to yours. He uses EVERY inch. I'm picking up an enclosure this weekend that is about a foot bigger in height, width and depth and expect him to use every inch of that as well.

My male hognose is still small, but he's eventually going to be in a 20gallon breeder and that will be more than enough space for an adult hognose, especially a male.

I wouldn't choose your snake based on your enclosure. Choose a species that you like, and that you feel you can adequately care for and give a good home to.

Oh and is there any difference between an Arizona mountain kingsnake and a normal kingsnake?

Yes, there are some differences between different species of Kingsnakes, besides just the paint jobs. Some will grow a little bigger than others, some will require slightly warmer enclosures, etc... The differences are subtle, but there are some differences.
