I didn't know where to put this. lol

So, I sleep with a nightlight and i'm wondering, will the nightlight bother the bp at night when sleeping, well it think that it's still light out or something? Like, should I put a towel or blanket over that side of the tank? I don't have a bp yet, still working on that... Still need to get some of the supplies.

I was just wondering. Lol I do have some dumb questions sometimes. xD

That won't be a problem. It will either go unnoticed because your BP is in a hide, or it won't be a concern if your nocturnal snake is cruising the enclosure at night anyway. No worries :gj:

Remember, the snakes in the wild have the moon and the stars giving off their own light when a snake is hunting. I wouldn't worry about it unless your snake seems to be getting a tan and is requesting shades to wear at night. Then, and only then, you might want to think about getting a lower wattage bulb for your nightlight. :-)

A little light is fine, do remember they're used to star/moon light in the wild during the night. It's simply that having a light in their enclosure or the lights on to human liking in their residence room is bright enough to make the snake think its daylight.

If its dark to human perception, it's dark enough for them to assume its night.
