Power might go out... My plan.
Hi. So, the other night I lost power. It was only for like 3 hours though. But tonight there's a HUGEE storm out. I'm sure it's gonna happen, the lights are already flashing and stuff. But, here's my plan:

-Right now it's 8:01pm, now, I have school tomorrow and I need some sleep.. so I'm gonna take like a 2 hr nap. If we loose power before that I know I'll wake up.

-When we loose power, I'll get Geno (And he's been being kinda grumpy lately so idk how he'll like this..) and put him in a cloth bag (The one he came in, it's been washed) and have him by me to stay warm.

-But when I go to bed for the night, I'll put him (In the cloth bag) into a tuberware container that I've drilled some holes in, and keep it by me. (So he stays by me, but I don't roll over on to him lol)

Is this ok? Is there anything I should do differently? Thank you so much! :)

Hey and also, I haven't drilled holes in the container yet. But we've got a handheld drill we'll use when we have to :) Which one should I use? Green or red? Thanks again!!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5937e7fa13.jpg

What's the temperature like in your house right now? Do you anticipate it getting excessively hot? If you're in a mild climate you'll likely be fine with the power out for a bit as long as it stays somewhere between 70-90 in your house. That's how I'd look at this situation in mid-late august, again depending on your location and climate. Snakes can withstand a little bit of cool temps for a short period better than they can excessively warm temps. If you imagine it would get fairly cold then go with your bag and tub approach.
