Thinking about what rack to get
So I'm I the market for getting a new rack from vision for my ball collection. I'm torn though on which one I should get first. Either a 11 tall 41qt or a 10 tall hatchling rack with v15 tubs. I have a 9 tall 32 qt rack full including 4 females over 1800g and a self made 3 level melamine rack with 12 qt containers with 800g being the biggest snake in there. Which rack do you think would be the ideal first purchase? The hatchling or the 41qt?

If you expect to need the hatchling rack soon, then I would get it. Otherwise, go for the 41qt rack as it offers more housing options IMO (you could clutter up the tubs for smaller snakes or use it for the intended size snakes).

I would not use V15 unless it is for colubrids, not worth the price considering that a BP would not stay in there for very long and would need to be transitioned to something bigger pretty fast.

I use V18 for holdback hatchlings (from out of the egg to 600 grams), after that they go directly in their adult racks.

As for what to get well it depends on what you need, have you started breeding, do you have hatchlings due or do you have animals needing an upgrade? Keep in mind that once your first female ovulates you sill have roughly 100 days before having to house your hatchlings.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll be picking up a v70 rack on Monday. [emoji846]
