    Size of heat mat?
So, the tub size is 23 3/4"L x 16"W x 13 1/2"H. It is a 64 QT. So, what size heat mat should I get?

If the ambient in the room is fairly high I would get the medium 8"x12", if the room is fairly cool get the large 8"x18". The large is a bit oversized for the tub - you want to try for covering 1/3 of the floor space - but there will still be plenty of space available for a cool side even with the large pad. Or you can put the water bowl over part of it, which may keep it humid enough inside that you never have to spray.

Can you open the blinds in the room for the snake? and thank you i'm thinking of getting an 8" x 12". :)

You don't want sunlight hitting the tub directly or it may get too hot.

For a growing snake, I would go with a larger mat (with regulation, of course.) I don't stick the mat directly to the tub, I tape it with painter's blue tape on top of some cut-to-size corrugated plastic sheeting (kinda like plastic cardboard) to put under the mat so it fits nicely under the raised bottoms of my tubs. That way there can still be direct contact with the bottom of the tub but I have flexibility to move it from tub to tub or not use the whole mat if I have a smaller enclosure that I know is only temporary.
