Should I feed my BP while in shed?
Just curious because he's been hiding a lot not going out and I saw he's getting ready to shed, so I'm not sure if I should feed him or now! Thank you in advance! :)

Offer a prey in his viv, see if he wants it.

I tend not to bother possibly wasting a f/t. Waiting a few days to shed before eating isn't going to be life or death for a ball python ;)

It's really up to you whether you want to offer or not. Some will take it, some will not. My BP won't, I tried twice, it's been his only two refusals. So I don't bother. A few extra days between meals won't hurt him.

I gave it a try and he ate right away, I'm very surprised, he's such a good eater, this is his first shed since I've had him I'm such a proud dad :) thank you guys!! [emoji56]

Mine's hit or miss with it, it seems to involve how deep he is into shed.

So, if he's not blued out yet, I'd say try it. But if the eyecaps are blue and milky, don't.
