    Amunet progression thread
Lil girly i called Amunet. Brought her home yesterday. Decided to do a progression thread. How often should i update this? [emoji23]

She is a female, about two months old. Know nothing about her except her previous owner was afraid of her. She does strike, has bit my mum (this morning, got her nail though), and is feisty. Ive had no issue, once i have her, she tends to calm down.

Current weight: 130 grams (estimate, couldn't find my true working scale)

I am in LOVE with that reduced pattern. You can tell in the second pic she's ready to go, but the feisty ones always seem to be good eaters lol... maybe she's just hungry!

Right? The shop owner told me that the previous owner literally threw the snake bag at her and said she was afraid of her cuz she struck at her. We dont know the last time she ate before i fed her, dont know where she got her (could be a petco/smart baby for all i know), nothing, except shes female and she supposedly just shed.

The shop owner pulled her from behind the counter to show me, hadnt even gotten to put her in a sale display, but she knows i do balls so she thought she'd show me and offer her up. Ill have to get pics in natural light to show off her hazy look on her hind end.

    She's very lovely ♡
Don't worry about her being feisty.
You're a new human, a new smell, and she's unsure what life even is right now. She can also smell fear so she needs comfort and reassurance.

She looks very young, and with daily holding she might be the tamest snake ever. ♡
She's doesn't look super malnourished (based on these photos) and like maybe she hasn't eaten in about 2 weeks . Which isn't out of their possible range for eating on a schedule. I suggest feeding weekly though.
I'm glad she's got a new home and someone who will possibly be more understanding of her needs.
Ball pythons are so simple to earn their trust. Just sitting in a ball on your bed 10 ft away and sniffing the air of the room you inhabit will help her learn who you are.
Scent training is a major thing and its very successful!
I wish you much luck with your little princess! :)

Eesh, I'm wondering if she's a normal too. That reduced pattern definitely brings to mind everything I love about Tiger.

Amunet just shed last night. Here's some updated pictures!
It was a beautiful single shed as supposed to be. She has still not tried striking at me but still does strike at others around. Shes calming down though. Her head stamp is brighter than ive seen it, but thanks to her getting ready to shed she really hid it. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...17dc8b165b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2005872fe8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a6fed0c73b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d116d95f68.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...39bee3b2ac.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...660a2bf511.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...716350641f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d3cf37a83e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bfb236c452.jpg
