    Mojave = Blue Eyed Leucistics
    Correct me if im wrong. Isnt Blue Eyed Leucistics the results of breeding Lesser Platties and not Mojaves ?

    they both produce blue eyed white snakes, the mojave's have a faint pattern and are just a tad less white. the lesser are brighter and no pattern. adam can tell you more, he's spent alot more time comparing every white morph side by side.

    What is the more desireable trait? The blue eyed lucy's or the black eyed ones? I guess this would just be a personal preference, but what's the market demand like?

    Ahhh .. never knew mojave could produce leucistics. Reason i asked cause i saw and ad selling a pair of mojaves. Seller was saying that it will produce leucistics.

    I was surprised by how much pattern I saw on the Super Mojaves in Daytona. It's subtle enough that the camera doesn't pick it up in pictures, but visible to the naked eye. Beautiful snakes for sure, but in my opinion for now lessers are definitely the way to go if you're looking for an all white snake.

    What makes the black eyed leucistic? At first I liked the blue-eyed ones, but after seeing the black eyes with the red pupil, I changed my mind.

    The "Fire Ball Python" from what I've read. You can read a lot of other info on them here :

    I don't know which snake I like more, and haven't talked to anyone at constrictors.com, but I know that Adam's about the nicest guy I've met and knows tons of info, so I'll probably be purchasing from him!

    Red pupil ... HA!! .. :D ... Each time I've held a black eyed lucy I've looked for the red eye and only saw it once ... Seems to show up in pictures all the time, but you have to catch just the right angle to see it in person ... I've seen it on blue eyed lucy's too in the right light! .... Smells like marketing to me.

    Be careful what you believe, everyone has an agenda to sell their snakes. Even me!! ... Do lots and lots and lots of research before you invest, buy what you love, and you can't go wrong!
