Russo gene, what to look for
I'm wanting to get a high quality Russo to add the my collection in the future. To my eyes it's appearing to be a more subtle gene than im use to looking at and have a hard time telling what makes a high quality version of the gene.

My 'short term' plan is to produce invisiballs. Long term, I love how the gene seems to up the quality of whatever it's added to. Since I'm starting out my collection with many years of breeding ahead of me, I'm focusing on adding single genes and single that are het at the moment. That way I both know the quality of my originators. And I can show people what the single gene form looks like. I'm in no big hurry as my mystic girl is only a few months old and about 300g. Just want to have a good idea what to look for, so I can jump when I see what I want to add. Loving her in the collection, great color and pattern with an awesome handling temperment and great feeding response. I also plan to add a lesser her clown in the future when a local breeder hatches some out, as long as one is there and I'm happy with the looks and temperament. Basically I'm joining in on wanting a variety of BluELs and love what the genes do in other combos.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

Thank for showing me an adult, she's a beautiful noodle. I'm loving that reddish hue to the black areas.
