    Eggs hatching soon. Please help
My very first clutch of eggs will be hatching in the next week or so.
I just want to be prepared.

1)How long do I wait to feed them?
2)how long does it take for them to shed?
3)What size rat do I feed them?
4)How long can they all stay in the same bin together in a rack system? (If at all)
5)When should they be removed from the incubator?
6)Do I leave the eggs out of the incubator while the snakes are hatching or do I leave them in the incubator?
7)What determines when the hatchlings are ready to be re-homed?
    8) And I'll take any other advice anyone has.
    Thank you

    1. The feeding day after they shed ( usually some will eat before they shed buy generally they don't)
    2. A week- two weeks on average sometimes more sometimes less
    3. First feeding I use live hopper mice. They really love them
    4. Until they shed
    5. After they shed
    6. Leave them in the incubator ( I pot mine in a hatch tray on damp paper towels so the babies don't get hurt on egg crate
    7. After they have eaten several meals on their own

I pretty much do what stillbp does, the only exception being first feeding. I always attempt FT(fuzzies) rats first and FT mice(hoppers) if I cannot get the right size rat. I warm them up stick them in the hide with the snake and they are usually gone within five minutes or so. Sometimes this does not work. When it doesn't I usually end up feeding live hoppers like everyone else.

Thank you. I'll try that feeding method. Since all of my other snakes eat frozen thawed.

I don't know much about hatchlings but congrats on the babies. Post pics when they're all out.
