Does it stress ball pythons out to see each other through tank glass?
The way most convenient on my table to set up the two tanks is parallel to each other, which means the view is perfect for them to see each other. I have some construction paper put up now, blocking the view, but I'm wondering if that the situation I described would be ok, or stressful to the snake? No actual contact, just "vision" of each other

I have some that I know do not see well, however I do believe that most can see pretty good. They watch me from their tubs when I come into my snake room.
I have seen instances where the heat sensors override the vision. For example, I tried to feed one of my mild mannered but aggressive feeding boys a room temp rat off tongs the other day. What ensued was a full on feeding strike at me and I was at an angle of 90 degrees compared to the rat. It was not even a slight miscalculation. He struck a full two feet away from where the rat was. I let him chill for a for a few minutes then tried it again. Same deal. One more time with no rat and he did not strike. I hit the head of the rat for a couple seconds with the hair drier and boom, dead on strike.
