    How Often is Normal?
I got a new ball python last Sunday. He has already ate for me and seems to be getting used to his home (havent messed with him yet).

My question is how often do BP normally poop or pass a urate/urinate? He hasnt done either and while im not very concerned I would like to have an idea.

As I'm sure many will respond it varies really. My bp will go 2-3 feedings and nothing, it's weird but I accept it as normal LOL

Babies usually go 3-4 days after eating. Adults may not go for a few weeks, especially if they're fasting.

You'll find it varies a bit. It will depend on the size of the snake, the size of the prey item, the frequency of feeding, etc...
They also tend to not go if a shed is upcoming, but will unload when they shed.

Mine have only done it after shedding

I've had mine for about a month now, and she didn't poop or pass urates until two weeks in, during her shed. After she shed she's started pooping a bit more regularly, and peed when I put her in a temp tub while I cleaned her enclosure a week ago (and then immediately pooped in her clean enclosure. Thanks, Maze). I've heard from other folks that younger balls do everything a lot more frequently than adults, which makes sense. Gotta get their grow on!
