I'm so pumped I feel like a teenager again. I've been waiting to see these guys for over twenty years. Had my tickets for months. Anyone seen them on this tour?

Awesome! I hope it's a great show and you have a wonderful rocking time, please come back and say how it was!
I saw them with Metallica and Body Count on the Day on the Green Concert back in '92 and it was a blast! G'n'R are great.

Thanks, and I am off. Miami traffic is horrible.

Enjoy the show. I'm contemplating going as well when they make their way to Chicago. My wife and I just saw Roger Waters July 28, that was an amazing show (minus the political stuff).

The concert...
I will get the negative out first. Thankfully the only bad stuff centered around traffic. I will never attend an event at Marlin's Park again. The traffic was so mismanaged that they were talking about it on the radio this morning. It took an hour to drive the last half mile in and two hours to get out.
This was absolutely the best concert I have every been to and I have seen almost all the rock bands capable of filling an arena. They have not diminished one iota. If anything they are better. Very polished and solid. Axl can still hit every note. Slash was amazing. He is enough to make a good guitar player want to give up. Fortus held his own and easily traded licks with Slash. Bass and drums were super solid and more than enough to sit on (If you play guitar you know what I mean).
The show itself was spectacular without being overblown. There were a couple songs I wish they would have played, but then they can't play everything. They put together a really good set mixing up the hard and soft stuff. They paid homage to Prince and Soundgarden. Duff had a Prince symbol painted on his bass. They broke into Blackhole Sun about mid set and the crowd went nuts. I never pictured Axl singing that but he nailed it.
If you have the chance to see this, don't miss it. In my opinion they are the last of the super bands. It is very hard to touch what they pulled off. I was with two people that had never been to a stadium concert and were not really "rockers". They were absolutely blown away.
