    Hi all,

My name is Anthony. I am 28 years old and, like many of you, am a huge reptile fan. I have been since i was a little kid.
I am at the moment looking into running up a business plan to start my own small little breeding business alongside selling the products that people would want and need to buy for housing reptiles. Target client/customers would be your usual pet owners to pet store owners to breeders.

I am here to grasp the overall thoughts of fellow reptile owners and to see what people are looking for when they wish to buy animals or products. Obviously I would be working in the UK but any ideas and inspiration would be greatly appreciated.

Leaving the business side alone, what are peoples thoughts on what animals to breed? Ball pythons, colubrids, leopard geckos all seem like very popular ideas but animals such as tegus, rhino iguana and blue tongued skinks seem likely to be animals that people would like to see but may not be as readily available on my tiny island!!

Ball pythons are my favourite but I know how many breeders are out there so breeding them would be purely for fun rather than having any thought of business involved. Fully aware that breeding any animal though should not be with money in mind but because you love doing it. Hence why I want to get this all going. I love it!

Loving the forum so far. Some interesting posts and lovely pics of some truly beautiful morphs!!

Hoping to hear from you guys!!!

    ta!

Regarding a business i can't help much but i guess you should just go with what you want to do and can manage. Best of luck and welcome.
