    Tax for frozen rats
Hey guys, I was just curious, are frozen rats not taxed when paying through places like RodentPro? Why is that? I'm just curious because I noticed that when checking out at RodentPro, they never taxed the rats that I would buy.

Unlike Amazon, RodentPro likely does not have a nexus in your state, so it is legally not required to collect and remit sales tax on sales shipped into your state.

Legally YOU have to report out-of-state sales and pay "use tax" when you file your income tax return. Very few people do though.
