Thinking of getting a blood
I've always liked blood pythons but I've never had them. I've had many other types of snakes and grew up with even more ranging from garter snakes, a house snake, balls, burms, retics, columbian boa and my uncle even had a rattlesnake at one point. So I'm very familiar with snakes. Currently I have two ball pythons. But I got to handle a young blood python the other day and that renewed my desire for one. I've done some reading and no where near done but I'm interested in personal experience and some opinions. Which would be a good starter of the three species? Are they similar in needs and size. Anything important to know? I keep my balls in tubs, and plan the same for the blood as well. Also recommended breeders, I know that many are captive hatched which I'd rather not get. I want a captive bred and hatched snake. I don't really care about morphs, they are beautiful in their natural colors.

They can be completely happy in a tub just needs to be a bigger tub like a bos tub. I use cb110s for males and ve175 Xmas tree tubs for females

The most stunning visually to my mind are the Black Bloods !!
Don't know anything about them though ... They look and sound scary though :)

They are fairly easy they like it a bit colored then say a ball python. I keep my room at 82 degrees with no other heat and keep them around 50% humidity
