    New fish!
I put a couple uber-sensitive fish in my tank just to get things started. I think they are two male clown loaches:

Eating sinking shrimp pellets like they are going out of style too.....

    I love clown loaches :)
Awhile ago, I had some in my mixed tropical tank. One of them went missing, and I assumed it had jumped out and gotten eaten by our cat. BUT when I was cleanin out the tank, I looked inside an empty snail shell, and there the loach was, fine as heck. So watch out, if you have any little "tunnels" in your tank, they will go in them; they love to hide.

There is also another firemouth cichlid in there too but he's near impossible to photograph- he literally never stops moving!

Nice parrot cichlids. :) I heard that they are dyed to get them that color. But my friend has some that she's had for years, and they have never lost their bright coloring. They turn into big, active fish. I would get some if I had any compatible tanks.
Your tank would actually resemble a saltwater setup, to someone who didn't know better. I can tell you, cichlids are alot of fun! I have a tank of af. cichlids (mbuna) and they are the hardiest little devils I have ever had.
My boyfriend has 2 Oscar cichlids in a seperate tank, and they are cool too. Good choice in fish!

Lava Rock (looks like some live corals) + ZooMed 10,000K Ocean Sun = imitation saltwater freshwater setup. The pictures really don't show it, but that light give the whole tank a bluish tint the resembles a saltwater setup.

and by the way, the reddish parrotfish is already reverting back to its natural orange color. OK by me, I actually like the orange ones anyway!
