    Hi all!! Im new to ball pythons i got mine a few weeks ago hes a pastel clown and about 2 months old. Hes got these brown spots on his head and i dont know that these are patterns or scale rot pls help! The temperature and humidity is ok i have 2 digital hygro and thermo meter plus the thermostat he has a lot of hides 1 on the warm side 1 in the middle and 2 on the cool side

    Could it be a healing wound? It's really hard to tell from those pictures either way to be honest.:confusd:

    Scale rot is most commonly found on the snake belly because of moist and dirty conditions.

    I don't see rot but the pics could use some more light to really see what's going on.

    In one of the pics it looks more like a hot spot from the snake trying to fit somewhere it can't or rubbing against something. But that could just be the pic. Better brighter pics would help but I don't think it's rot.
