    Thoughts on the adult
So i was going to post a pic of a super pastel clown adult for this discussion but not one hundred percent on the rules of using not your own photos and didnt want to violate any policies or tick anyone off. It is an adult male super pastel clown on sale on morph market that I came across. Simple MM search and uou will find it Its an example of why i dont like the combo personally and i dont understand why so many seem keen on pumping them out. I just don't see the appeal. I know most ball pythons dull out or brown out with age but even young pastel and super pastel clowns I don't think look all that great. Im sort of in the same camp with the bananas only difference being banana clowns as hatchlings look absolutely spectacular. Its such a shame that as adults they will be so much more muted in color. Wondering what others think. And before I take a lashing on here all snakes are beautiful [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16] and I'm sure this is a perfect snake for someone I'm just saying it's not my cup of tea as it's pretty much all washed out. There's no real contrast and just wondering others thoughts.

In my little world, pastel ends up being in a lot of things because there are so many breeding age females out there. You can get a half decent one for little more than the price of a normal. In my opinion there are breeding's that pastel just should not be in, but you use what you have. I am actually in some instances trying to take pastel out of a line. It can make IDing certain combos very difficult.

I agree. My opinion is people do it because it's readily available, cheap and being incomp./co dom easy to breed but I feel like big or small you have to take your end result into account. You basically said it perfect certain breedings just shouldn't be in. Kinda like lemonblasts. Don't like those at all they have a dirty look. Pins are better with pattern morphs like woma or spider or for lighter things like desert ghost. I don't know. It's just my two cents but my clown male will never go to anything pastel lol.
