Approximate hatch time at 86*?

I'm curious what the approximate hatch time is when incubating at 86*? I've got a clutch that is on day 52. Though for the first week I have no idea what the temp or hunidity were like. Other than that too low of humidity, they didn't have a thermometer or hygrometer in the tub. I can find people saying a time line for 89* and I'm not sure how much those 3* will make a difference in the time frame. I'm expecting to see some pipping action around next weekend, but I'm not sure. 4 of the 8 eggs recovered once I got them in the incubator, 4 are brown and shriveled looking like raisins.

When should I expect to see some pipping at these incubation temps? Incase the eggs are hard from the early dehydration, when should I cut an escape slit, if at all?
Hatching someone else's eggs like this will definitely help for when my girls decide to lay clutches for me.

From my experience, you are looking at at least day 60 with those temps. I have never had hard eggs so I cannot help you there.

Nice job on the rack. If you want to reduce cost and weight use 1/2 x 1 1/2 pine. Costs more in screws than wood to build this way. It is not pretty, but very light, strong, and cheap. All my racks are build on the same basic design. Even my baby racks.

My first year cooking eggs I had them at 86.5*F. They pipped on day 68-69.

I was looking at doingg similar, but I can't beat the cost of this one. It's single sided 5/8" melamine. And it was free. It used up 3 essentially full sheets and I used mahogany scraps from ripping down arrow blanks for the spacers for the heat tape. So the only cost is the tape, I already have a Herpstat 2 to hook it into. It's nice being close friends with a cabinet makers family. And lucky he happened to have boards he got for free lying around.

I was thinking it would probably take an extra week or so. But wasn't sure. I've been hoping to find a hatching timeline to temp chart similar to the BP size to feeder size chart. I feel that would be handy.

Can't beat free.

I am incubating "low" this year, because I am have a lot of spider clutches and wanted to do an experiment. Incubator temps are set at 86, but egg temps are still hitting 88 and 89. Ambient temps outside the incubator are between 84 and 86, so I am getting some very interesting readings. At any rate, none of the eggs have been pipping before day 60. I trust that BCR's observations are also accurate. As to a chart, if you find one please post it. I have not found anything either.

A chart i found a while back.

Personally I go by eye and size them up that way and keep about 3-4 days between feedings when they are smaller up untill around 500~600 grams.

I swapped out my thermometer/hygrometer since the hunidity was getting to the unit. One of the Walmart ones. I replaced it with a vivatium electronics one with a probe for both. And its reading at 88.5* as opposed to the 86* te other one was. My thermostat is set for 87.5*. In the egg box with the IR temp gun I was getting the 86* when I first set it up and for the first few weeks when I would check often and make sure things didn't shift. So I'm hoping that it just happened that at the same day I switched the thermometer/hygrometers they started to heat up. Otherwise, which one is correct.

I just realised i miss read which... kind of chart was asked for *sigh* #fail ...

But I have also heared people at 91F that still take 60~ days... some clutches are faster and some are slower.
My 2 het pied clutches (1 laid on 4/6 and one on 7/6) came out 1 day after another while being in the same "temperature gradient" in the incubator :)
