A month later, still can't decide on a name
Sorry if this is the wrong subforum lol

I've had my young bumblebee girl (pictured in account photo, more in gallery) for a month and have yet to really find a name for her. I've tried out a few but they never stuck.

Personality wise, she's sweet and shy; not once has she gotten any attitude with me lol and mostly just wants to be in her cave or hide even sitting out on the bed with me. She's a good eater and likes to explore when I have her out (prolly just hungry or looking for a hide lol-- once she hid in a roll of paper towels while I cleaned her tank!)

Do you guys have any suggestions? How do you name your babies? Thanks in advance!

I don't name mine. I gave one a name once, and called it for an hour. It never came.

Already wrote a bunch of stuff about these names, but it didn't post, so I'm just going to get lazy and quick now. :P

    Amica ("Friend" in Latin)
    Mirus ("Strange/wonderful" in Latin)
    Amo ("I love" in Latin)
    Janet
    Meredith

Those are all very cute names that fit her personality, I think. So, I hope you find the name you're looking for that sticks!

I a lot of times name mine after a character from my favorite movie or Tv show, or I base it off their color scheme. My Pastel girl is named Bumblebee from transformers. We thought she was a he, then I found out I was wrong:PI was lucky the name I picked was gender friendly XD

I would love to help you name it! I love naming things!
Looking for something simple? Unique? Cute? Or fierce?

I name mine after the Greek, Roman, and Norse gods, goddesses, heroes, etc.

I tried out Arya (Game of Thrones) and Luna (Harry Potter) and just got annoyed with them lol. She definitely looks like a Khaleesi, but that name is so overused nowadays

I tend to name my animals after movie, book or tv characters, depending on their personalities. Sometimes they're named after musicians...

Some include: Django, Tyson, Baby Firefly, Cosmo, Balor, Johnny, June, Baloo, Chloe, Jax, Opie, Juice, Happy, Tig, Nala...

I tried giving mine names (all Game Of Thrones names too) but I just can't really stick to name my snakes. It just feels silly to name my snakes. If they don't respond to a name, I don't name them. My son has a crested gecko that he named Greg, other than that my only named pets are my dogs.
