Anyone have experience with TGR racks
These new racks look very nice. I like that you can buy just one individual tub/rack.

Very cool. Makes me want to go ahead and get the Honduran Milksnake I've been thinking about getting. I just didn't want to have to buy a ton of new equipment for one snake but with TGR I can spend very little to set him up.

Do you all like the TGR racks - comments???

    Thanks

I currently have 3 FB10 single levels, and a rack from RBI. I love both. The TGR single levels are conveinient and affordable, and came about 2 weeks after I placed my order. Temps and humidity have never been an issue, either. Decent product for a decent price :)

    Get the milksnake! :D

If you are looking for a single level rack, these seem to be very well built...

KayLynn - how do you like the heat tape that comes with these TGR racks/tubs?? I typically use RHP's for all my enclosures but obviously that is not an option with a tub. I tend to fear a fire hazard with heat tape.

Is it also correct that if you buy one unit - later on you can just continue to add levels?? Is that correct.

Sounds like a win/win in my book

My other concern is the dark grey tubs - those would not let any light in?? I wouldn't want my snake to be in darkness all the time. Any thoughts. I didn't see on their website where I could change out the color of the tub on FB10 unit

I don't like how their heat tape is suspended and sags so there is no consistent contact with the tub.. You can kinda see it here...

They are stackable, though you need the stacking clips they sell separately. The heat tape is ok. I like the way the tape in my RBI rack is wired better, but for single units the tape set up gets the job done. I have the TGR tubs on a separate tstat though, because I have to run it a little higher than my RBI tstat in order to maintain the proper temps in the tubs because of the suspended tape.

I don't mind the grey tubs, I use those 3 single racks for 2 of my females who prefer the darker set up and my albino, who has some permanent health issues and is more prone to stress.

    Okay, Thank you.

I just ordered a FB10 rack. I will get a separate thermostat also.

    Appreciate all your help.

Maybe with the addition of a 3rd support rail would help with that problem. Has anyone alerted TGR to this concern??
