Bloods & Sumatrans Haven't Defecated Once In Almost 5 Months
I have had one of my Matrix Bloods (2015) and a pair of Sumatrans (2016's) since March and none of them have ever defecated as of yet. The Matrix has been eating 1 small rat every 7 days and has never missed a meal. The Sumatrans have not been good eaters and have only eaten rat pups sporadically... I know that it's not unusual for these guys to go up to 6 months without defecating, but at what point should I start being concerned? Is there any way to tell if they are impacted? Is there anything I can do to help them go, like daily soaks in warm water or something?

    Thanks.

They are storage tanks I had two different bloods go 13 months. Feed larger meals or take them on a nice bumpy long car ride

LMFAO! That is hilarious! Maybe I should start letting them have coffee with me, huh? It works for me! lol But, wow... 13 months, though, huh? That's crazy!

Have to say I agree. With them being storage tanks. My female just went for the first time in 6 months. I'd say it's pretty normal.

My blood just took a HUMONGOUS dump. It' about two months since I got her, but it did happen after I tried feeding her a bit more than usual.

Rambo still hasnt gone since ive gotten him. Its been a little over 3 months, hes eating a small rat every 7 days, hes just about doubled in length and weight since ive got him, shed twice, and still. no. poo. Its gunna happen sometime, and when it does, im sure it will be a nightmare.

They seem to enjoy holding it to give their owner a massive surprise. I've had some huge piles after they held it a few months. Think Great Dane or baby elephant.

And for what ever reason they seem to really hold it for a long time from about a year old until 2 years old. Right in that sun adult range. Once they hit two or so they become much more regular. I'm not joking about the car ride. Take them for about a one to two hour trip and be prepared to clean ask anyone that has a lot and takes them to shows

That's interesting, I didn't know that about blood pythons. When my 26 pound retic goes poo the clumps are bigger than what my Saint Bernard puts out LOLOLOL.
