I need help with my BP
hello I'm a new ball python owner and I had my BP for at least 2 weeks, the first week I had her she was shedding so in a few days it will be my first time feeding her but this not about that
Today my snake was chilling so I went to see whats it doing and her eye was indented so I freaked out and researched about it and it was an indicator that she's dehydrated so I got a bowl, cleaned it out and filled it with luke warm water and I wanted to soak her she was trying to escape at first but then she like didn't mind so I sat down and watched her until she started soaking her head and then jumped up and she was it looked like a seizure but I don't know she had her mouth open and she was rolling around on herself so I stood up and grabbed her out of the water then she was like opening and closing her mouth every few seconds for a min and she's normal now but I'm still worried her. Her eye cap is back to normal I think it was when she had her head resting on the hide it kind of indented then.

I don't think this is wobble head syndrome but at the same time, I'm not sure.

She's a female Spider yellowbelly 312g 80cm in length eats XL mice.

    Update:
Time to time she does this noise, not hissing a wheezing kind of sound it's not in a rhythm and happened twice in 10 mins if you right now breathe out of your nose harder than a normal breathe and make like a "hm" sound that's what it sounds like.
I do not think this is linked to a RI but i dot really know TBH

she aswell did something that I really not saw before she sat on her hide just staring not into the air like star gazing but just like staring into the distance.

Holy punctuation Batman! Shortage of periods in the UK?

Sounds like your humidity is low.

    Search moss in hides.

As for the "seizure" I bet that "luke warm" water was not. What feels warm to us is usually hot for a snake. Sounds like you possibly overheated the snake. I wouldn't do that again. Just get your husbandry correct to keep from having to play catch up.

The cheap gauges can be highly inaccurate.

Place damp moss in the hides and you shouldn't have to worry about tank humidity.
