Re: coconut bedding question
Guess my question is What can we use for high humidity if not coco? aspen just gets nasty.
Re: coconut bedding question
Plantation soil works best for me from everything I tried (aspen, paper, forest bark) and looks great, no mess when I pull out the big bowl of water or the BP. Soil is from exo terra sold in bricks, have to put 3liters of water in to separete it, dry it out in the sun because humidity would be to high with it so dump. Put it in terrarium, spray the soil twice a week... Works great.
Also I put cleaned pebble rocks over it to hold the soft soil on its place when the snake slithers through it doesn't move...
looks soo nice and natural.
Can upload a photo later If you want to see.

Here's the setting.
Hot side is on the left. I had to put a few rocks on the left because soil is too soft and he messes it up when he sliders through [emoji3]
It's really hot here now so alot of rocks under the bowl and the cold side helps keeping the temps lower and the water cold. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2ad243aed7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...df8d052491.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f2197bdc11.jpg
