    So this came up in my YT feed. I don't know anything about this lzards to comment but it looks like he's gone like above and beyond. This is stuff I used to fantasize about. I would dread the maintenance though.

    It looks cool but I would so worry about the state of the walls and that poor carpet after about a month. From the looks I got in the video, it looks like he's lain plastic sheet down on top of carpet. Between that, the water feature, the humidity, I would think there's going to be damage.

    Would be much smarter to tear the carpet out and paint the entire room with pond armor to actually completely protect the interior walls. Fill it with soil and just plant it, put all the feces eating microfauna you can find in it and all that jazz that will make the whole room bioactive to make things easier. His viewership levels are pretty high but I hope that people won't think that because he's doing that, they can do it in a little tank at home.
