    Substrate question..
Ive been using newspaper for the large cages and walmart shredded aspen for the smalls. Im allergic to the aspen but the smalls are all downstairs so it only bothers me when I change it out. Ive always had humid hides with eco earth in all my cages, all of the smalls use these hides.

I need to put the boas and bp on something better then newspaper, especially since they wont use humid hides. They are in my bedroom so no aspen..This winter the humidity will drop to nothing..The local petstore sells Reptibark for 21 dollars a bag, which I would probably need two bags per cage(3), thats over 120 bucks. I dont know how often I would need to change it all out but that could get super expensive. SO I have access to a walmart and all their Cypress mulch is mixed hardwood, so basically not real cypress mulch..I have used cypress in the past and hate it so looking for something better.
Any ideas or websites where to buy reasonable bedding with decent shipping? Thanks

Pro coco or other coco coir products work great. And it's cheaper if you don't buy the "reptile brands"

I found the prococo online for 20 dollars (amazon) but it doesnt say how big the block is..How many would I need for a 4x2 floor space? Its about the same price as the reptibark but again I dont know how much I would need? How long does it last before a full change out?

I personally use and love coconut fiber, I bought 2 24qt bags on amazon for $13 a piece and 1/2 a bag covers my 4x2 space in about an inch deep if that helps.
