Het Clown Making "Brighter"

I was speaking to a breeder and he was saying that Het Clown brighten up, say, a Coral Glow/GHI ball python.

Just wondering if there's any truth to this and if there are any other recessives that when het behave like this, if this is true of course. He said that it brightens up in general, not exclusively with that combo by the way and that this is the only het gene that does it. At least to his knowledge I guess.

I have not heard of this with clown hets or any other recessive morphs for that matter, that certainly doesn't mean it's not true though. But, I do have quite a few clown hets and they are all beautiful but I would not say they are any brighter than the same combo without the clown het gene, at least not that I can tell. I'm pretty sure that most recessive morphs can not be visually confirmed in the het form. Although I have heard that some het pieds have 'markers' but I am not familiar with what it means but have heard if from enough reputable sources for me to believe it's true, I just don't have any experience with the pied morph.

How there markers? Yes, How they reliable? Not always and an animal should definitely not be purchased based on so called markers.

Now if you produce Poss Hets it's always fun to see if you guesses will prove, Het Pieds markers are the easier ones well depending on the animal (on some animals those markers will just disappear), Het clowns are pretty easy too again depends on the animal you are looking at.
