DIY tutorials for stand/table

does anyone know of any good resources (youtube videos, online step-by-step guides, etc.) for making something SUPER simple like a coffee table/cage stand that you've had success with? i want to make my own table/stand for my T8 but i am a complete n00b when it comes to wood, joints, cutting, basically making anything. my father is a carpenter as well as an engineer so i have access to a plethora of tools, but i just need to know what the heck to do with them lol.

eventually i'd like to build my own rack; that's a pipe dream atm.
