Hard strike on rat.

    Hard strike on rat.
    Rex is a highly supervised live feeder (please save the f/t lectures for a different thread).

    He has recently switched over from mice to rats and when he hits a rat, he's like a different snake. It's almost scary he hits it so hard.

    Has anyone else seen a dramatic increase in feeding response and strike when moving fro mice to rats?

    I'm not sure if it was an increase in feeding response, or just the spring hitting. Issa has been a great feeder since spring happened. I usually feed him f/t but a couple of times he's gotten p/k.
