    My little Ghengis kahn
I just wanted to update any interested on my boa Ghengis Kahn. When I first purchased him the little guy would turn into Satan himself when he was on his heat source. No handleing, no touching, don't even go near the cage. He now is adjusted to being handled very well. I go through the same routine every time I handle him and it is working great, he hasn't hissed, struck, or spat since then. He is a very good eater, had a complete shed (all came off in one piece) and overall he is fast becoming my favorite (the title is still being held by Cleopatra, my corn snake). Well thanks for the rant....

Oh that's so cool to hear Forrest! I wonder what was up with him being so wierd on his heat source? Glad to read that he's coming along so well for you. Patience and consistency just always pays off doesn't it.

Yes it does. I keep learning this one lesson over and over since I started to keep snakes. In fact I think it is the first thing that should be listed in all care sheets but thats just me....
