Next Show

Im just wondering who is going to the Manassas VA Reptile show next weekend. I will be there cause its like 20 mins or less away from me.

I'm limiting myself! I'm going to the MARS show in Timonium in September so I am NOT allowing myself to be sucked into another show where I will purchase yet more cresties and possibly some cornsnakes (I'm holding out for Adam right now!). Please let me know how it is though, I went to one of the All Maryland Reptile shows in Havre de Grace and was not terribly impressed, but I thought maybe the others would have a better turn out! Enjoy, no matter what show I've gone to I've always enjoyed it!

Let's just say I will be browsing upon Adam's return! I'm absolutely furious with him for not having any het pieds available right now....:evileye: :P

I may cave for a pastel, but we'll see. First I have to talk with my boss at work, I'm a school teacher and plan on having them in school (in a backup area where kids may not enter as it is locked). I have several lesson plans I'd like to build around them including genetics, characteristics of living things, ecology...ahh, the list is endless!!! My husband is a bit put off by them, don't know why, he'll handle them but doesn't want them in the house...I'm working on it!!! As it is they'll summer with my family down the street!

I am holding out for the MARS show as well. I have been to the Manassas show a couple time and was not impressed with the selection of boa morphs and the amount of vendors for the hour and a half drive.

I've changed my mind...I'm going to stop by Manassas just to pick up some feeders and check out possible rack options (though I will probably wait until MARS due to more selection). I figure it'll be small but my corn has to eat and it'll probably be cheaper!

i found out that i am not going to be going to this show now yesterday we had a death in the family and i am driving down to flordia tomorrow to for the funeral i will be back sunday night i am fine and so is the rest of the family we knew it was coming so it wasnt a supprise last time we heard from a doctor they said my grandma had 2 weeks max to live and she only made it though 1 she put up a good fight she had lung cancer a long with a ton of other stuff and lived a lot long than the doctors said she was at first but when she died she was ready for it and went as comfortably as possible i might be on again later tonight i dont know

I'm so sorry about your loss, even if it was expected it is never easy. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Have a safe trip.
