    craigslist post selling PVC rack
    https://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/pet/6216779041.html
"I have 1 PVC enclosed sided snake rack for sale, has 5 bins, they are belly heated with recessed zoo med heat cable (safer than heat tape in my opinion). The tubs are sterilite 32 qt Clearview latch 6 1/2 Tall x 16 1/4 Wide x 23 3/4 Long."

$250. would this rack be worth looking into? i don't know too much about racks or their heating requirements. i've always thought to get a rack eventually and stumbled upon this today. good idea, bad idea?

A used 5 32qt rack for 250 isn't a terrible deal . I'd see how used it is and who made it first .

I have racks with flexwatt and some with cable heat, but the cable runs inside of the hollow pvc side, not under the bins. Make sure the bins won't snag on the cable, and ask what the ambient room temp is where he used the rack. You want to make sure enough heat hits enough of the bin.
