    Columbian or colombian
Well now I'm confused, is it columbian boas or colombian boas? Now that I look it's written both ways, someone that I don't actually really like commented on my Instagram that I should change it to the opposite spelling but I don't really entirely want to because of who actually said something.

Help me out? Which spelling is it?

Don't let somebody you don't like rent space in your head. You do you.

here's an article i found about the reasoning to correct someone on its spelling:

however i agree with craigfrechette: u do u.

Technically it is Colombia. But there are many cities and even a river named Columbia. That is likely the source of the confusion.

The proper spelling in English is "Colombian" from the South American country of Colombia. I've seen German sites use a K instead of a C to start the word.

Any other spelling for the snake name and country is technically incorrect though it happens (misspelling) often.

Most know what you mean. Locale keepers will correct you usually.

I feel like the u probably comes from a phonetic spelling of Colombian, it makes more sense to people to use a u instead of an o. As others said, Colombian refers to the country of origin, which is Colombia, so Columbian is incorrect.
