Houseing: urgent

This forum has been a life savor (probably litterally) for husbandry for new people. Thank you.
So far we have DIY a dimmer waiting on thermostat because no shop in our area carries them. Also DIY new houseing. Check it out. Tell me if we should switch from too big tank to diy tub with under heartening either or with temp dimmer based controls.

I would stick to the tank. It is more secure. Plus with the tub and how it is set up you will probably be addressing the same issues as with the tank.

And you still need dark hides.

Thats what I was thinking until the thermostat case in.

is the water bowl too big? I could put in a standard sized rankin instead.

what should a tub look like? Can you provide photos?

Go to my profile gallery and check out my BP tank. The pics are old but they will show you what cover is.

The water bowl is fine but smaller works too.

The hides need to be dark and secure. The husk should work better than what you have.

How your tub is now is fine. You just need dark hides and more clutter to help the snake feel secure. That can be real plants like in my pics, fake plants, logs, paper towel rolls, crumpled newspaper. Really anything that is safe for the snake to crawl through and around.
