Help injured lizard!

I rescued what I think is a baby Plateau Striped Whiptail from my puppies mouth earlier today. Poor little thing got pounced a bit. I have it in a large plastic bin to rest and assess any injuries. I think one of it's arms isn't working properly yet and I have no lizard experience. Any tips to keep it comfortable while giving it a chance to rest and recover would be very helpful.

Fast, active lizards. I wouldn't keep it longer than overnight. Finding a good place to release after it's had a short rest is probably best.

Sorry, Melissa, I didn't even answer your question! Since you're keeping it short term, hopefully just overnight, no need for some elaborate setup. An escape proof container with a few holes punched in the top, for air exchange, and some litter in the bottom for security. Napkins or paper towels crumpled up work fine for cover too in a pinch. I'd find a quiet spot to let it sit overnight and release the lizard in some morning sunlight so it can charge up naturally.
